आज भी  ये शब्द हमेसा हम लोगो को सुनने मिलता है।  पढ़े लिखे  होने  के बाद भी आज के युवा इसे अपना प्रतिष्ठा मानते हैं।  अगर आप पेपर पढ़ने जाओगे तो १-२ न्यूज़ इससे सम्बंधित मिल ही जायेगा प्रत्येक दिन आपको।  एक्चुअली हमारे  समाज में लोगो ने इसको अपने नाक से जोर के रखा है।  जिसने जितना दहेज़ लिया या मिला , उसकी कद समाज में उतनी ही ऊँची  मानी  जाती है।

आज के समाज के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा  धब्बा है ये "शब्द " .  लेकिन सब चीज़ो को साइड करके लोग इस्पे सोचना ही नहीं चाहते।  अगर किसी की सरकारी नौकरी है , तो समझो  उसके घर वालो की तो लॉटरी ही लग जाती है।  जितने हजार की सैलरी उतने लाख में दहेज़ डिमांड  होता है। 

लड़कियों को सादी के बाद भी बहुत सारे घरों में  दहेज़ के लिए प्रताड़ित किया जाता है। जिसके कारन कुछ मामले में लड़किया आत्म हत्या कर लेती है।  एक सभ्य समाज के लिए ये बहुत निन्दनिये बात है।

सरकार के द्वारा बनाया गया कानून इसके लिए काफी नहीं है।  इसके लिए लोगो को जागरूक होना होगा।  मेरा ये ब्लॉग कुछ नहीं कर पायेगा  ,मुझे पता है , लेकिन मेरा ये प्रयास है , सायद १ या २ लोग भी इससे प्रभावित हो।  तो ये मेरा  लिखना सायद सफल हो जायेगा।  लोगो को ये सोचना होगा की अगर आप दहेज़ माँगोगे नहीं तो देना भी नहीं होगा उनको।  किसी न किसी को तो सुरुवात करनी होगी। तभी जाके ये खत्म हो सकेगा।

कुछ लोग इस पर बात नहीं करना चाहते , लेकिन वो सामने से दहेज़ के लिए ना भी नहीं करते।  आज भी लड़किया जब किसी घर में जन्म लेती है , तो लोग उदास हो  जाते  है। उसके पीछे  दहेज़ एक बहुत बड़ा कारन है।  

अगर एक गरीब के घर में लड़की जन्म लेती हो , तो उसके घर वाले उसी समय से उसके लिए दहेज़ का इंतजाम करने में लग जाते है,  और लड़की की सादी करते करते उनका सारा धन सम्पति खत्म हो जाता है।

हमारे घर के सामने एक परिवार है , जिनको ठीक से खाने के लिए भी पैसा नहीं है , लेकिन उसने अपनी बेटी के शादी  के लिए लिए कर्ज लेकर दहेज़ का इंतजाम  कर लिया है।  इस क़र्ज़ को सायद ही वो ख़तम कर पायेगा , लेकिन उसकी मजबूरी है , उसे ये करना ही पड़ा।  ऐसे बहुत सारे परिवार आपको भी देखने को मिल जाते होंगे।  लेकिन इस दर्द को सायद हम नजर अंदाज़ कर देते है।  जरुरत है इस पर सकारात्मक सोच की जिससे ये खत्म हो सके।
